Arizona personal injury attorney Michael Golato is a key member of the Vrana Law Firm team. With experience working within the auto industry, to his role as head of litigation for a large personal injury firm, he has the insight and experience to guide the most complex cases towards their best possible outcome. With a passion for fighting against the all too often uncaring and profit-driven insurance industry, Michael is a driven advocate for anyone looking for a fair result after they’ve been injured.
Just one example is a recent premises liability case where his client was injured by a horse. The insurance company tried to shift blame, minimize the injury, and make it all go away with an offer of $20,000. Instead of walking away, Michael and his client took the case to trial. After hearing the best argument from both sides, the jury awarded Michael’s client $330,000.
Michael has practiced law since 2016. When asked why he enjoys litigation his answer is, “my goal is to make sure my client’s story gets told. Insurance companies want to reduce people to a number on a spreadsheet and it’s my job to make sure they don’t get away with that level of dehumanization. Litigation is the avenue for that kind of accountability.”
Besides work, Michael is an enthusiastic sports fan and maintains a fond allegiance to his hometown, the City of Champions, Boston, Massachusetts. And even though he went to the University of Arizona for undergrad, he has been kind enough not to discuss last year’s season with the many disappointed ASU grads in the office.
